Single Stage Detail.

The Single Stage Detail is our intermediate Detailing package and is ideal for a car which suffers from paint oxidation (dull and neglected paintwork) and entails a full oxidation treatment. Machine Polishing and Carnauba or Ceramic Wax application. (Ceramic Coatings can be applied for an additional charge)

This comprehensive 18 stage process is outlined below:

​

  • Car is Pre-washed with a foam lance and snowfoam; process repeated if necessary.

  • Car is washed with a strong shampoo using the 2 bucket method and then rinsed clean.

  • Alloy wheels are thoroughly washed with a non-acidic wheel cleaner using a selection of wheel brushes.

  • Wheel arches are thoroughly washed with a high-concentrate all purpose cleaner.

  • Car undertakes a clay treatment with a low to mid-abrasive clay bar and lubricant to aid paint decontamination.

  • Car is de-tarred with a tar & glue remover where necessary.

  • Car is then washed with a shampoo and conditioner using the 2 bucket method, rinsed and dried using microfibre drying towels.

  • Car undertakes paint oxidation treatment with a paint enhancement polish with the aid of a machine polisher.

  • Car is washed with a shampoo and conditioner to remove dust and polish residue, rinsed and dried using microfibre drying towels.

  • Car receives a paint cleanse or glaze applied with an applicator pad and buffed by hand.

  • Car receives 2 layers of high-content carnauba wax applied by hand and buffed to a high finish.

  • Interior sills and door, bonnet and boot shuts are cleansed with an all purpose cleaner, dried and waxed.

  • Interior and exterior glasswork receives a polish with a high-concentrate glass cleaner.

  • Exterior plastics and rubber trim receive a touch-dry conditioner dressing.

  • Alloy wheels receive a coat of wheel wax and sealant.

  • Wheel arches receive a coat of all-season dressing.

  • Tyres receive a natural look dressing.

  • All chrome and stainless steel surfaces including tail pipes cleaned and polished.
