Planet-Wax was set up as a Professional, Mobile Car Valeting business for the Glasgow and West of Scotland area in April 2007 and has been running as a one man operation ever since.

I'll begin by introducing myself. I'm Michael Sherry, aged 34 with a passion for cars dating back as far as I can remember. Although the heart of a car is its engine, I have always believed the bodywork is the pure essence of what makes a car special. With this in mind, I decided to make use of my spare weekends and began Detailing cars and this has now grown into a full-time job which I have been doing for over 5 years having Detailed over a hundred cars ranging from Ford Fiestas to Ferrari 599's.


Planet-Wax is predominantly run by one man - myself. This means I am solely responsible for all things Planet-Wax and am able to maintain the high standards I set myself on all the cars I Detail. I also charge a fixed fee and not by the hour which means you, the customer is aware of how much the Detail is going to cost beforehand with no hidden surprises.



Although we offer a complete Mobile Car Valeting and Detailing service, we also give you the option of having your car collected and taken to our premises in Bearsden where the work can be carried out to the highest of standards and then delivered back at your residence or place of work.
